Financial Counseling from ACCC, the Consumer’s Ally
When you find yourself in a jam that seems impossible to get out of, sometimes the best thing to do is to turn to someone who has expertise in the type of problem that you’re facing. If you’re a consumer with debts that are becoming too hard to manage, expert financial counseling can help you understand your options and find the best solution. For financial counseling from an organization that’s looking out for your best interests, turn to American Consumer Credit Counseling (ACCC).
ACCC’s Financial Counseling Expertise
American Consumer Credit Counseling is a non-profit financial counseling and debt management agency that’s been helping American individuals and families overcome debt difficulties for more than two decades. As a non-profit organization, our driving mission is to provide consumers with financial counseling and solutions to help them solve their debt problems and to use credit wisely. Our counselors are independently certified and are standing by to answer your call and provide you with helpful debt advice. As shown by the credit counseling reviews under the About Us section of our website, ACCC’s customers appreciate that our counselors are not just experts in their field, but also are genuinely interested in helping consumers to overcome their debt challenges.
ACCC’s Financial Counseling Services
ACCC offers a range of financial counseling services to meet consumers’ needs:
- We provide a free initial financial counseling session to assess your current debt situation. In this session, a certified counselor will talk with you about your options including debt consolidation options.
- If you choose to participate in ACCC’s debt management program, there is a debt counseling element to this program. For consumers who are looking to have their unsecured debt consolidated, the ACCC debt management program provides a straight-forward, effective solution. The financial counseling part of the program is intended to help you stay in control of your debts in future.
- For consumers who are considering filing for bankruptcy, ACCC is approved by the U.S. Department of Justice to provide the pre-bankruptcy counseling that’s legally mandated by current bankruptcy laws. We are also approved to provide the mandated post-bankruptcy credit counseling course (also known as debtor education).
- ACCC can also provide financial counseling in regard to certain housing-related issues. For example, we offer HECM (reverse mortgage) counseling nationwide; and we offer foreclosure counseling in Massachusetts.
Approved to issue certificates in compliance with the Bankruptcy Code. Approval does not endorse or assure the quality of an Agency’s services.
