College Scholarship Services Profile
The CSS/Financial Aid PROFILE is an application distributed by the College Board in the United States allowing college students to apply for financial aid. It is primarily designed to give private member institutions of the College Board a closer look into the finances of a student and family. The CSS Profile asks questions about the financial status of the student and the student’s parents. The information the student gives in the CSS Profile is then sent to colleges or universities that the student specifies.
National Student Loan Data System
The U.S. Department of Education’s (ED’s) central database for student aid. NSLDS receives data from schools, guaranty agencies, the Direct Loan program, and other Department of ED programs. NSLDS Student Access provides a centralized, integrated view of Title IV loans and grants so that recipients of Title IV Aid can access and inquire about their Title IV loans and/or grant data.
