Housing Services
ACCC’s HUD-approved housing counseling agency offers HECM (reverse mortgage) counseling nationally and locally. ACCC is approved by the Massachusetts Executive Office of Elderly Affairs to provide HECM counseling to Massachusetts residents.
Homebuyer Education and Certification
ACCC offers Massachusetts and national residents the Framework online Homebuyer education class. The Framework class meets requirements for most lending programs.
Occasionally, unforeseen financial difficulties, unexpected life events, or an unsuitable loan can make it challenging to meet your monthly mortgage payment deadline. Failing to pay your mortgage for more than a few months could lead to a loan default, prompting the lender to initiate foreclosure proceedings and eventually auction off the property to recover the debt. If you’re struggling to keep up with your mortgage or rent payments, or if you foresee difficulties in making regular mortgage payments, it’s crucial to seek assistance promptly.
