As a nonprofit credit counseling agency, we post a poll each month asking questions about a particular financial topic. For the month of August, we wanted to understand the connection between your personal finances and employment. Of respondents who are currently employed only 7% are searching for a new job. 81% of the unemployed respondents have a degree or has completed some level of college. Also, 50% of the respondents have been with their current employer 5 years or more. However, only less than half of the respondents received a raise in the last 18 months.
