Although Anthropologie can be pricey, visit on a Tuesday for the best deals on the newest markdowns.
Babies”R”Us
Markdowns usually begin on Sunday, but don’t end until Thursday. That being said, Thursday is the best day to shop at Babies”R”Us.
CVS
It’s best to shop at CVS early in the week, specifically on Mondays.
Kohl’s
Kohl’s puts items on sale or markdown on a daily basis; however, the best days to shop for the best markdowns are the second and fourth Saturday of each month. This is when they tend to mark the most stuff down for the biggest savings. These will definitely help you stay on budget while shopping.
Macy’s
Head to Macy’s on a Tuesday for the largest selection of clearance and markdown as markdowns begin on Sunday and must be completed by Tuesday.
Marshall’s and T.J. Maxx
These retailers receive multiple shipments during the week and therefore, they mark items down regularly. Politely ask a store associate what day they receive shipment or do markdowns for a better idea. In most cases they will be willing to tell you.
Old Navy
Rumor has it that Old Navy does markdowns on Tuesday nights and Wednesday mornings, so Wednesday is the best day for new markdowns at Old Navy.

Target marks down the clearance items in each department on a specific day. While the schedule tends to vary based on location, you can generally find new markdowns in each category on these days:
