The fees are much lower than other agencies and counselors are extremely straight-forward and helpful.

I appreciate the help and the non-condescending tone when talking with the representative. When you know you are in a mess, you don't need someone reminding you of what a mess you have gotten yourself into, and ACCC representative did not make me feel like I was a bad person. I truly appreciate that.

I gained a great sense of relief that my situation was salvageable and a critical wake up call to make bill paying a priority… My counselor was able to interact directly with my creditor and set up an automatic payment plan, which they accepted, offered advice/updates on saving money, paying down debt, budgeting finances, restoring respectable credit… I feel extremely fortunate to have access to ACCC and appreciate its existence, professionalism, and important assistance… My first call to ACCC lasted 2 hours--extremely productive time. I was not judged negatively, only supported in present and future finance-managing, which I need. I look at my budget and finances in an attentive light now. I learned a very valuable life lesson and I wish to thank you very much for helping me!
